Another PageRank Update
It’s that time again. Here’s the latest PageRank results from throughout Jack’s Empire. Just like last update, I’ll only be showing results for my side projects and not my clients.

| i am jack’s company | 2 | 4 |

| Ohio Sports Report | 2 | 0 |
| Michigan Sports Report | 4 | 4 |
| New York City Sports Report | 4 | 4 |

| Northwest Sports Report | N/A | 0 |
| Jack’s Golf Report | 3 | 4 |

| Web Auctions Daily | N/A | 2 |
We can argue all day about the real value of PageRank but I absolutely love update days. I just find the whole system incredibly fascinating and this update is no exception. There are four changes to note this time around:
- This blog went from a 3 to a 4 which is nice because I’ve been putting more effort into it lately than I have in a long time. So a +1 bump is at least some acknowledgment of my work.
- iamjackscompany.com is a one page, 25 word site that somehow went from a 2 to a 4 with absolutely no backlinks short of footer links on some of my other sites. Strange.
- The Ohio Sports Report actually bottomed out to a 0 several weeks back. Again, like last update, the reasons are pretty obvious if you just visit the site. This one is no surprise at all.
- The last site worth mentioning is Web Auctions Daily and it’s first PageRank of 2. I’ve done some small advertising runs on a few “make money online” sites with absolutely abysmal results so, again, I’m assuming this PageRank juice is generated from links on my own sites (mostly this blog).
So there you have it. I was kind of expecting a nuclear PageRank disaster so it was a nice surprise to wake up today and see some positive shifts on my sites. What kind of effect did the PageRank have on you?

Good to know. I thought I had seen a few other sites with some different PR’s. I stopped paying any attention to it.

Very grateful for the update! Knew it was coming real quick, and I’ve been sweating bullets. I can finally perhaps get a good night’s rest…

Good results on the whole, shame about the one drop, but not too much of a loss I guess. I had my personal blog goto a PR3 while a couple soccer sites I don’t update anymore went from a PR2 to PR3 and PR0 to PR3. Isn’t much use, but you could always sell links…
