In December of 2004, I started i am jack’s design as a freelance web design and development business with a focus on sports. For the last three years I’ve been helping sports organizations build and grow their online presence using custom-built content management systems.

This blog is an extension of my web development business where I offer thoughts and tips based on my experience as a freelancer.

I also use it as a place to document my experiments developing projects that have nothing to do with my client work but might be interesting to others in the web development industry.

Along with this blog I publish a weekly newsletter on topics related to what I write about here. It’s free to subscribe and I regularly give away stuff and hold contests for verified subscribers.
